CIMS - Cemetery Information Management System

One the evening of June 17th 2018, the cemetery was hit by a short but powerful storm. In all there was 9 trees that were knocked down. Although the majority of the trees have been picked up there is still plenty of work that remains. We would ask that the general public keep out of the effective area, as there are still stumps and holes in the ground. The area is barricaded off for the safety of the public. Through all of this we do have good news, there was no damage to any of the head stones within the effected area. We have taken measures to protect the headstones during the clean up effort. Although unknown if this is covered by insurance we will work had to replace the area back to the beauty of the cemetery prior to the storm. Thank you to all the visitors for your concern. I will keep you update on the progress and when it is restored.

The cemetery was founded in 1860 and is located in the Village of Lake Hallie at 4061 North Prairie View Road in Chippewa County in Wisconsin. We take pride in our cemetery; you will find groundskeepers working daily to keep Prairie View as beautiful as possible. Prairie View has made it possible to meet or exceed the final wishes of you and your loved ones, from different sized lots, to accommodating the many shapes and sizes of headstones. We also honor our country's Veterans by leaving the flag markers on the grave site year round. Every Memorial Day we honor all Veterans with a service which has featured US Senators and citizens of the community. Please stop by and take a look around to see how serene our cemetery is and please consider Prairie View Cemetery for your own or your loved ones' final resting place.
